Dhamaka is an authentic remake of the 2014 South Korean film The Terror Live, and it stars Kartik Aaryan in a role he has never played before. The film is directed by Ram Madhvani and follows a cynical former TV news anchor who receives a frightening call on his radio show. He sees an opportunity for a return in his career, but it may cost him his conscience. The film, which also stars Amruta Subhash and Mrunal Thakur, will be originally released on Netflix later this year. The film was purchased by Netflix for a substantial sum of Rs 135 crores. Bulbul Tarang, starring Sonakshi Sinha, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Raj Babbar, and Sushmita Mukherjee, is a social drama based on a true storey. Shree Narayan Singh, who directed Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Batti Gul Meter Chalu, is directing this film.
Meenakshi Sundareshwar, directed by Vivek Soniby and starring Abhimanyu Dassani and Sanya Malhotra, is a film about a young couple who engage into an arranged marriage.
