
COLOMBO: India and Sri Lanka’s second Twenty20 International was postponed on Tuesday after visiting all-rounder Krunal Pandya tested positive for COVID-19. Krunal, who tested positive on Monday, has been quarantined, and the RT-PCR test results for the full contingent are pending.
Team won the very first T20 international by 38 runs, and it’s unclear how Krunal caught the infection while being in a rigorous bio-bubble for the past month.
BCCI on Tuesday 27,July 2021 on their tweeter wrote ‘NEWS ; Krunal Panday tested Positive ”
and informing about the second match, they added
” Second Sri Lanka -India T20I postponed to 28 July
the entire contingent is undergoing RT-PCR test today to ascertain any futher outbreak in the squad
