Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra who routinely tweets on intriguing issues has expressed his views on record bookings on Ola’s yet-to-be-launched electric scooter.
The business tycoon also made a special mention of Ola Chairman and Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and said that the more entrepreneurs that follow the lead of @bhash & exhibit no fear of failure, it will be better for Indian innovation.

Meanwhile, Ola Electric announced on Saturday that it has received about 1 lakh bookings for its future scooter in the first 24 hours of the process being launched. In the evening of July 15, the firm began accepting reservations for their electric scooter.

This is a big step forward in our quest to help the globe migrate to sustainable mobility,” says the company. Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Group CEO of Ola, said in a statement.
The electric scooter, according to Ola, will be class-leading in terms of speed, range, boot space, and technology. The manufacturer has indicated that the model will be reasonably priced in order to make it broadly available. Ola expects to unveil the scooter’s features and price in the following days.
For the rest of the world, the scooter will be built in India. It would be produced in the company’s two-wheeler factory in Tamil Nadu, which is now under construction. The Ola Futurefactory’s first phase is approaching completion and will be operational soon, with the full capacity of 10 million vehicles per year expected by next year.
