Motorola appears to be on a roll with new products. Motorola has made the Motorola Edge S Pro official in China, after the launch of its Edge 20 series. The Edge S Pro is the company’s follow-up to the Edge S, which was originally released in the global market as the Moto G100. The smartphone is provided with powerful features such as a 144Hz display, a 108-megapixel primary camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 engine.
Motorola has also referred to the Edge S Pro as the company’s thinnest and lightest 5G phone in all pre-launch marketing. This sounds familiar because Motorola said the same thing about the Moto Edge 20, and the two handsets’ specifications are nearly similar. So it’s safe to conclude that the Motorola Edge S Pro is a rebadged version of the Moto Edge 20, which was just announced by Motorola a few days ago.
Price and availability of the Moto Edge S Pro
In China, the Moto Edge S Pro is available for Yuan 2399 (approximately Rs 27,500) for the 6GB/128GB storage option. The smartphone is priced at Yuan 2699 (approximately Rs 30,900) and Yuan 2999 (about Rs 34,300) for the 8GB+ 128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, respectively. The 12GB+256GB model, on the other hand, costs Yuan 3299. (only Rs 37,800). Pre-orders for the phone have already begun in China. In terms of the India launch, a source recently confirmed that Motorola is going to introduce the Moto Edge 20 series this month in India. So, if the Moto Edge S Pro is a rebadged version of the Moto Edge 20, it could make its way to India.
